Integrity Policy for Online Training Environment

Introduction

This policy aims to clarify the importance of all beneficiaries of Mina Training services committing to integrity in the online training environment. It outlines forms of integrity breaches, procedures, and penalties taken by Mina Training in case of such breaches, as well as measures to minimize their occurrence.

Concept of Integrity and Its Importance

Integrity is a fundamental requirement in all dealings within the organization, emphasizing the importance of honesty and trustworthiness for every individual in the online training environment, including trainers, trainees, and administrators.

It is an ethical framework for trainers, trainees, and all employees of the organization, regulating their work and providing them with principles and guidelines to govern their behavior. Integrity encompasses various aspects, including combating cheating in exams, plagiarism, submitting projects not produced by the trainee, manipulating results, bias, forging documents, or circumventing laws. Therefore, anything that violates the rights of others or contributes to providing misleading information or non-original projects is a breach of integrity.

Forms of Integrity Breaches

  • Falsifying information in reports or signatures
  • Obtaining or providing unauthorized assistance
  • Exploiting collaboration

Procedures and Penalties for Integrity Breaches

In case a trainee is caught cheating during an exam, the following procedures will be applied:

  • Prepare a detailed report of the incident, including any evidence, and refer it to the competent committee in the organization.
  • Determine the penalty based on the severity of the offense and the trainee's behaviour (failing the course, failing all courses in the semester, etc.) or as deemed appropriate by the organization.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of the case.
  • Inform the trainee of the disciplinary action before implementation.

In case of plagiarism in academic work, the following procedures will be applied:

  • Prepare a detailed report of the incident, including any evidence.
  • Determine the penalty based on the severity of the offense and the trainee's behaviour (deducting points from the year's work, deducting points from the academic work only).
  • Maintain the confidentiality of the case.
  • Inform the trainee of the disciplinary action before implementation.

In case of identity theft, the following procedures will be applied:

  • Prepare a detailed report of the incident, including any evidence, and refer it to the competent committee in the organization.
  • Determine the penalty for the offender based on the findings of the report and the severity of the offense (prohibition from taking the exam, prohibition from obtaining the certificate, etc.) or as deemed appropriate by the organization.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of the case.
  • Inform the trainee of the disciplinary action before implementation.

This policy applies to all beneficiaries of Mina Training services. Mina Training is committed to ensuring the implementation of this policy, and all employees of the organization are also bound by it. Any violation of this policy will subject the offender to disciplinary action according to the procedures followed in Mina Training.
